Kay Fax Greensomes - Peel Golf Club 19Th May 2023
The above event was, as last year, treated to a beautifully sunny day with a light breeze.
A total of 25 pairs played which was pleasing to see and it continues to be a very popular event on the IOM Golf Union’s calendar.
There were some very good scores recorded, with a Rowany first and second place with Diane Neale and her partner Jackie Fisher winning with a net 68, just pipping Donna Primrose-Smith and her partner Laura Thorn by one shot. In third place on a countback was the team from Port St Mary of Anne Gundry and Cath Preston.
There were four nearest the pin prizes going to Diane Kinrade, Cath Preston, Maryann Dunn, and Isabel Cartmel.
The IOM Golf Union President, Bob Quilliam also kindly provided three spot prizes for the longest drive which went to Diane Neale and a card draw won by Julie Heel and Barbara Drinkwater.
