Kay Fox Greensomes. Lms Sponsorship Of The Ladies Golf Union.
The Kay Fox was played at Rowany Golf Club on Friday the 21st August 2020 in very wild conditions, with 50 mph winds blowing across the course but thankfully no rain.
Twenty-five pairs braved the elements and the scoring was remarkably good considering the conditions. In third place were Rowany Captain Shirley Strathdee and Diane Neale from the host club, second were Pauline Hargreaves and Frances Tinkler, also of Rowany. The winners were Joy Morris and newly crowned Senior Ladies Champion Barbara Monk.
LMS Partners have agreed to sponsor Ladies Golf Union events for three years and Christina Skelly was happy to play and present prizes at the event.
Gordon Pairman, President of Isle of Man Golf, congratulated all those that played at the presentation of the G&T themed prizes.
Many thanks go to the Rowany Ladies and Peter Holt for hosting the popular event. The course was in fantastic condition considering the weather and is a credit to Simon and his team of volunteer helpers.
